Typical deface tagging of Banksy chief on Sycamore at Mission (near 17th St). We noticed someone tried to preserve the piece by painting around the original figure. This "save" resulted in a more abstract result of the original, I have to admit I quite like. Photo of original before.

My guinea pig, Pepe Joe (aka Pepe John Joe aka The Silky Banana aka My Butterscotch Boo), turns 3 years old today. He's been a joy since I adopted him, and I feel grateful to have such a sweet, and sometimes naughty, pig in my life. Ah, the shenanigans...
South African specifically. A friend recently turned me onto Die Antwoord (aka Ninja, Yo-Landi Vi$$er and DJ Hi-Tek), a funky-fresh, misfit trio with haircuts and beats that mesmerize you like a certain vitamin popularized back in the 90's. Uh... Who me? I'm just sayin'.
Like a good sandwich, take a bite of Die Antwoord below, then wash your palate with some lovely, minimal tech served up by Bodycode (another aka, this time Alan Abraham), who also happens to be South African, with feet planted currently in Lisbon. I found these shoes for under $10. I tucked them away, and rediscovered them again rooting through my pile of.... The leather sole is sumptuous, but I'm unsure if the straps will hold up to city streets. It's funny how my nails are painted the same color as the shell. I recently noticed my pseudo-Fred Flintstone toes, on my left foot, do a weird grip/curl thing. I'm not sure if I like that....
God, I wanna feel like this when I wake up. I don't think they can touch the original, but they def made it more hilarious. Love the SIM guys dancing outside that cage thing. And the helicopter!
